Usage

Here you can find instructions on how to get started and use the key features of the application.

Installation

Visit the app store on your mobile device and search for PalmettoPlusWallet

Creating Your Default Account

  • Put the name and type for your fist account.

Start Adding Income/Expenses

  • Click the + icon in the upper right of the main dashboard
  • Enter any expenses/income.
  • If you placed an order and did not receive a License key, please reach out to us via EMail and include the ios/android version, application version, screenshots, and info related to any issues. 

Create A Budget

  • Navigate to the 'Budget' at the bottom.
  • Click the '+' in the upper right of the page.
  • Create your first budget item.

Import Bank Statements

  • Navigate to the 'Settings' at the bottom.
  • Click the 'Import Statement' in the middle of the page.
  • Locate your pdf/csv from the bank statement.
  • This is a best effort with OCR for pdfs.

Notes

  • This software is free for you to use and comes with absolutely no warranties.
  • Your data is YOURS. We do NOT collect any data from you.

Issues

Support Policy: Direct technical support is not included with the standard subscription-based license for this product. 

Issue Submission: You may report potential software defects, bugs, or other issues by emailing our development team via EMail. Please note that while we review all submissions, we do not guarantee a direct response or a specific timeline for resolution.

Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Welcome to PalmettoPlusWallet. This application is designed to be a private, secure, and free checkbook application to help you keep track of your expenses. Your privacy is our top priority. This policy outlines how your data is handled within the application.

As stated in our mission, we do not require any special permissions, nor do we track you in any way, nor are there any ads.

2. Information We Collect

PalmettoPlusWallet does not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal information on any external servers. We, the developers, have no access to your data.

The application allows you to enter and manage financial data ("User-Entered Data"). This data includes, but is not limited to:

  • Account names, types, and balances.

  • Transaction details such as titles, amounts, dates, payees, and notes.

  • Budget information, including names, amounts, and date ranges.

  • Custom category names and icons.

3. Data Storage and Security

All User-Entered Data is stored exclusively and securely on your local device using Apple's integrated SwiftData framework. This data is protected by your device's own security measures, such as your passcode, Touch ID, or Face ID. At no point is this data sent to the developers or any third party.

4. How We Use Your Information

The data you enter is used solely by the application on your device to perform its functions. This includes:

  • Displaying your account balances and transaction histories.

  • Calculating budget progress.

  • Generating statistics and charts about your income and expenses.

Since all data remains on your device, we do not use your information for any other purpose.

5. Third-Party Services

PalmettoPlusWallet does not integrate with any third-party services. The application does not contain any third-party analytics, advertising platforms, or tracking mechanisms.

6. Children's Privacy

The application does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. All data is user-generated and stored locally.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the application or on our website. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.

License

RHELITPRO, LLC SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT

This Software License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you ("Licensee") and RHELITPRO, LLC ("Licensor") for the use of the software provided by RHELITPRO, LLC ("Software"). By installing, copying, or otherwise using the Software, Licensee agrees to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If Licensee does not agree to the terms of this Agreement, do not install or use the Software.

LICENSE GRANT Licensor grants Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Software solely for Licensee's internal purposes, subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. This license does not convey any ownership rights or intellectual property rights in the Software to Licensee.

OWNERSHIP The Software is licensed, not sold. Licensor retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Software, including all intellectual property rights. Licensee acknowledges that no ownership rights in the Software are transferred under this Agreement.

RESTRICTIONS Licensee shall not: (a) Modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works based on the Software; (b) Copy the Software, except as expressly permitted by this Agreement; (c) Distribute, sublicense, rent, lease, or otherwise transfer the Software to any third party; (d) Use the Software for any purpose other than as expressly permitted by this Agreement.

NO WARRANTIES THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED BY LICENSOR "AS IS" AND WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. LICENSOR DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE PERFORMANCE, ACCURACY, OR RELIABILITY OF THE SOFTWARE.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY IN NO EVENT SHALL LICENSOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS OR SERVICES; LOSS OF USE, DATA, OR PROFITS; OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION) HOWEVER CAUSED AND ON ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE) ARISING IN ANY WAY OUT OF THE USE OF THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.

NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR USE Licensor is not responsible for the manner in which Licensee consumes or uses the Software. Licensee assumes all risks associated with the use of the Software.

AGREEMENT TO TERMS Use of the Software by Licensee constitutes Licensee's full acceptance of and agreement to the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

TERMINATION This Agreement is effective until terminated. Licensor may terminate this Agreement immediately upon Licensee's breach of any provision of this Agreement. Upon termination, Licensee must cease all use of the Software and destroy all copies of the Software in its possession or control.

GOVERNING LAW This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of [Insert State], without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between Licensee and Licensor with respect to the Software and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous understandings or agreements, written or oral, regarding the Software.
